Our Staff

Phil Peterson

Interim Youth Director

Phil lives in Issaquah with his wife Ligaya and four kids: Eloise, Drake, Brody, and Marlayna. He loves Filipino potlucks, fly fishing, the Minnesota Vikings, and watching his kids play in the front yard. He and his wife joined Crossroads in 2007 to serve together in youth ministry for the next five years. Since then Phil graduated with an MDiv. at Multnomah Biblical Seminary, was ordained, served our missionaries in global outreach, and the young adult community at CBC and Bellevue College. If you want to know what is important to Phil, then he recommends talking with his wife, kids, students, neighbors, and friends he cares about and they will let you know all that God has done to bless our lives these past 14 years of life in ministry.

Austin North Bend (6 of 9).jpg

Austin grew up attending Crossroads Bible Church and dedicated his life to Christ while attending one of the youth group’s Junior High Service trips. Ever since then, he's had a growing desire to serve in ministry, graduating from Biola University with a degree in Christian Ministries, and now returning to Crossroads to work with youth and young adults. He has a deep love for his friends and greatly enjoys spending his free time going on hikes, playing board games, and drinking good coffee with them.

Vicky Tobin

Administrative Assistant

Vicky has been a consistent smile for our youth team since 2004. She loves all things sports, particularly cheering on the Seahawks and Mariners, as well as traveling - mainly to Boston to visit their daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Daniel and two grandsons Thomas (5) and James (2) and the beaches of the Oregon Coast and Maui. She has candy to share with anyone who comes by her office. If you have questions about the youth ministry, then Vicky is a great place to start.

She has a degree in Business Administration and an MBA in Operations and Management and has worked full time for 25 years. Last July, she felt God calling her to leave her job to spend more time at home and with the kids.  She has been learning to slow down the pace, and try to hear God lead. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, cycling and trying new foodie spots. She would love to meet you and chat over a good cup of coffee or tea!
